isn't your car a lease, anyway? just turn it in for something else when the lease runs.

Loaners usually will end up at public auction and eventually at other dealerships (like CarMax).
Don't get me started with Carmax... One of the worst experience i had when selling / buying car.

I bought my car at Carmax, then one foggy day i see the rear window hazed over and it says:
Infiniti of Elk Grove
Courtesy Loaner...

But at least my Engine had a great Break-in cycle. ha!

I had a fleet vehicle once (actually a company car). It was a Lexus ES300. Had lots of miles on it and previous damage not shown on Carfax (i.e. repainted A-pillar panels indicated by the orange peel on the paint). Some other unusual problems came up on the car down the road like a faulty charcoal canister and screwed-up solenoid on the transmission (leading to a rebuilt tranny out of my pocket) Ended up totaling the vehicle, and insurance cut me a check for more than the car's worth on KBB or NADA, enough to purchase the G35.

So it was all a happy ending, but never again will I ever think about buying a fleet or leased vehicle. Complete nightmare!

loaners are just like rentals except people arent renting them so they feel its a free **** around car, IMO its cool to dog the car a bit if you do it to your own but take care of it, i take care of other peoples stuff more then i do mine.

I dunno, chances are if i get a loaner it will be nicer than my car so i'll be too afraid to mess with it.

My '06 was a lease i purchased. Now you guys made me nervous, but i went through it like crazy and the car looked clean as a whistle when i bought it. Runs fine. SOme older man owned it anyway. I doubt a 60-year old was trying to whip donuts with it in the first snowstorm each winter

Lease returns are generally f ine as long as it's from an Infiniti dealer. Loaners are a different story.

just returned the car and when asked about the damages, the service manager told me that the paint scuff marks are due to inexperience older drivers that failed to comprehend the power of the car. I can only imagine "mature" driver using loaner cars as a daily bumper car..

On the side note, i really like the interior of the 08, especially the 'super white' ambient light.. have anyone tried to replicate the ambient light in our 03-06 g35's?

Aren't "Fleet" cars different than the normal loaner?

Idk but i checked the window sticker from my last loaner and it didnt say fleet anywhere on it, so idk if my car was a loaner or maybe just a hertz rental car.
