I have actually washed cars on a normal test drive- after asking if it was ok of course, just so that I could see any imperfections and such before buying. I have also washed loaner cars, most of which are in pretty good shape. Oddly enough the only Infiniti loan I had was an 08 G35X base and it was trashed too. My 05 looked years newer then the loaner, but of course it is mine and I take care of it as if it was my child.

I do too, but I won't use an automatic wash unless absolutely necessary. Hand wash only for me, but if it was a loaner or a rental that is a different story.

My mom gave me a crap load of quarters for Christmas b.c she knows I wash the car by hand. The only thing is that she does'nt know that I now use ONR and haven't been to a pay car wash in months lol

Thanks.
very good ride considering they're 19s and I'm running 35 series tires. Great handling, yet comfortable ride.
g35freak86 will concur!

I didn't at first but if you do what they say it does an awesome job. It doesn't take any longer then a normal wash, in fact I think it takes less time.

When someone is neglectful or abusive of someone else's private property it says a lot about their personal habits. It's not as if someone who smokes a cigarette or (worse) a cigar in a loaner car isn't going to light up in their own personal car. Same with that person who drinks soda pop in the loaner car. Frankly, I probably wouldn't buy a car from that kind of person even if it was one they owned outright.

The fact is we pay for these loaner vehicle's when we buy the cars. Their cost is calculated into the purchase price. So when we put excessive wear and tear on these cars in the end we owners or lessors pay for it.

So whether someone leases or owns a car probably has less bearing then we'd like to think on whether that person will neglect or abuse a loaner car.

My 04 has a few scratches now, unfortunately. Including the last bumper, where I think someone must have bumped it. Most recent damage was the driver's side floor mat. The loop for holding it in place is torn now.

I had originally planned to sell it to a friend after about 6 years, but he is now going through a divorce so won't be able to afford it. I think now I'll try for 100K+ miles on it, and get my money's worth out of it. Still probably in better shape than the previous car I bought, which was a former rental car.
