Can anyone recommend...
... a good method to remove scratches... or at least reduce them until I can get my Nismo Aero kit?
Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated... many thanks!

I think a full paint job is a bit excessive for a scratch, even if it's a deep scratch...
light swirls/surface scratches = good detail... deep scratches/gouges = airbrush touch up & blend... major paint damage = re-paint by body shop.

Scratch-X works good on light stuff. But a highly-skilled detailer can do wonders for tired paint. They are well worth the $200-300+ they charge if you want to make your paint look good.
Come spring time, i'm having my Black G35 professionally detailed by my friend.

Autotopia.com forums. Or the detailing forum here.
I'd have it buffed and polished. You might not get all the scratches out but you might get enough of them out to the point where it's barely noticable.

PMd you his info... the guy does amazing work - I've never had issue with discoloring or fading or any miss-match in color (he uses OEM touch up paint from airbrush)... I've used him several times and no one can tell where the previous damage was... he does work for OC dealers and was originally referred by Senik paint, who provides paint product for body shops... the guy is very good.
