road trippin

well yesterday i took my first road trip in the g!went to houston and galveston(5 hour one way).LOVED it.car rides awesome and is just comfortable as hell!even with 2 other people.back is already low and was slammed with them in the back and the exhaust got a little annoying after a while.those r the only two complaints, but i brought those upon myself.not to mention it got pretty danm good gas mileage!overall i love her

so what do u guys think are the pros and cons of ur cars when u road trip or drive for extended times??

I don't road trip on my G. It helps keep my G closer to mint, if you will. We use my wife's SUV for that. I think that my exhaust would not be welcomed on long trips either. What exhaust are you running?

Post more pics of your G.

Here's my beatch.....

Last extended road trip I took was from Orlando to Houston (1,000 miles each way) this past summer. Loved the highway MPG and ease of acceleration when there's the need but ran into tons of bugs of all varieties which made cleaning the front bumper, hood, windshield and mirrors a harrowing experience. If I didn't have chips on the paint, I would consider putting a clear bra over those affected areas.

Looks sick dude! My only complaint is the lip. It doesn't look like it fits at all! Get an OEM lip! Fits perfectly.

I took my G to NC from the DC area, great MPG once I got out of city traffic, Drove 5hrs to New Bern NC, to Wilson, then back home to the DC area. Easily stayed in the 25MPG area (highway and while in the two NC cities of course)
