My girl's 04 seden is making a crazy knocking sound coming for the passengers side. You can only hear in the cabin and only in idle. I checked the fuel damper and sure enough it's shaking/vibrating and once you give it a little gas it goes away. So I'm thinking the TSB ITB06-012 should take care of it.

So my question is : Will TSB ITB06-012 (fuel damper) fall under the powertrain warranty? The car is a 04 with only 41,000 miles

You'll need to check the "in Service" date. If I'm correct the powertrain warranty is 5 years / 60k miles (whichever comes first). So you're good on mileage but everything will depend on your "in Service" date (when your car was originally purchased). Call your dealer with your VIN, they can usually help you. as far as i know that is not covered under powertrain warranty and also powertrain warranty on an infiniti is 7/70 The price isn't that bad though its ~180 bucks so its not bad anyways and its very easy to put in literally takes 15 minutes.
