Hello all!
I really need your help. Today I lost control of my car and knocked down a mailbox with my side mirror. The mirror still functions as it should, but the white cover (i have a 04 g35x ivory pearl) is all busted. Now here is my question.
Is is possible to replace just the outer shell of the mirror? (If it is, where do i get the parts)
If not how much would it be to replace the whole side mirror?
Any other options? (I really do not want to spend a ton of money on that).

How did you lose control, Ive lost control of my car dirt drifting and was def worth it- along with the guy that chased me on a golfcart afterward, he stopped me and said it would be the worst day of my life haha good times..

Hit up Ebay and see if you can find anyone selling a used side mirror off a wrecked g or something..

 

I wish it was that exciting. My car started sliding during pretty sharp turn on a very narrow street during icy conditions. And before I had time to start correcting, my left rear wheel hit the sidewalk and after that I had no chance of getting out of the slide without any damages.

 

the shell should be removable.

I just saw one ended on ebay, it was an 05 DG for $3.50, the market is very slim for these, if you can find a listing on ebay, you and probaly only 5 other people are looking at it. I would say the cover is in the area of $150 after it has been painted from the dealership. It should snap on and off. Well aleast thats the case with many VW's and my 4th gen maxima.
