i Hate Storage/Winter :(

Tonight i got some new fog light bulbs (which i really dont care for the color, looks stock) and after installing one decided to see what they looked like in the night, and maybe buzz my car up and down the street a couple times. I got outside and heading down the street, couldnt stop and had to e-brake it to avoid a snow bank. Then, it took me over an hour to get back up the street. my mom is inside freaking out at me, im backing up the street hoping it will act like FWD (which it didnt) then my mom comes down the street with the truck and is like "im going to pull you" and im like "no" so then i creeped it until i got to my driveway which was plowed..

Awful experience. If you ever plan on taking your g to some place that snows, swap the wheels and tires..

BTW this was hard packed, plowed snow on my street..

why did you have such difficulty? do you have rims with enormous tires or something? of course it wouldn't work like FWD, the main reason FWD is so great is because the drive wheels get great traction with the weight of the engine over them.

Wow. Idk
Unless you have like 6 inches of snow, I don't understand why it would be that bad.
I drove a RWD drive car in our Chicago winters before the X, and it wasn't anywhere near that...

That's your problem. You shouldn't really be rockin' those in the MN winters. I visit MN quite frequently and know how bad those roads are in the winter. Anyway, RWD and snows work fine for me in Chicago. But we don't have some of the hills you guys do... I remember having trouble going up a snowy hill in my FWD Maxima one time up there. Scary.... And since we're talking about MN winter--why sand and not salt? I don't get that....lol

Had trouble moving it in my driveway today. However, I am on crappy stock 17's with low tread stock tires. Plus my driveway was all ice... but I had fun! lol

My car did decently on A/S tires last winter. But i can only imagine with snow tires how it would do.

Im not driving my car in the winter, i just wanted to drive it around.

i'm guessing sand/dirt doesnt screw the roads up like salt would. personaly i think the sand works better.
