Does anybody know if the center console behind the shifter is the same on an '05 6MT sedan as it is on an '03 6MT sedan? For example, would it have the same sliding door compartment and cupholders, same armrest, same compartment beneath the armrest, etc??

 

In diagrams they look the same, but I dont know if they are in fact the same. I'm hoping somebody with experience in both an 03-04 and 05-06 6mt sedan might be able to shed some light on this. Oddly, parts for the '03 console are much cheaper than the same parts for an '05 console.
