Mrev2

How could you tell the difference between MREV2 vs a stock lower plenum? I have seen people getting scammed saying it is a MREV2. Does anybody have pictures that shows the differences? I would really like to know before I start looking into buying one used.

i think...dont quote me on this cuz i havent taken of my mrev2 from my car. But from what i remember there is a honeycomb design on the bottom of the plenum of the MREV2 the stock one is just plain. ALSO you can see the runners from the bottom are MUCH straighter than the stock one

The tops of the front two runners are ground down for better breathing.
You can see the grind spots in this pic from Motordyne (light areas)

Thanks for your replies. Does Motordyne make their own plenums or do they use the OEM and modify them? Can you modify the OEM so that it works like the MREV2? Has anyone modified the OEM plenums?

They use OE plenums & give you a cash back when/if you send your old one back.

Yeah guys have done they're own (burried in here somewhere)
But how do you *know* that you get the air flow right?
