i had bluebats overlays on my tail lights for a while. They are top notch quality and never faded/yellow'd over the period I had them. With cheaper overlays/film you will experience yellowing or cracking. Go with bluebat. Very good product

i don't believe so. those are the 6/10 tint which is the darkest IIRC. For the headlights, he does have opaque, which is compltely black though. I think it may just be for the coupes though.Originally Posted by toymachine2009
does he have any even a little darker than those?

Hey has anyone ever got pulled over by the cops for having overlays this dark in california? are they even legal?
My tails are painted and almost full black but they are GTR style so the brake and turn signals are still nice and bright.
I have never had police issues from them. Have gotten a lot of looks but once they light up everyone is happy.

i feel like painting your tails/headlights is the simplest, most economical approach... all the hassle i've heard about getting bubbles out of overlays(if you choose to do it yourself), not to mention paying someone to put it in(15 to 20 bucks, i'm guessing) ON TOP of what you've already shelled out to buy the overlays...
just my two pennies

Overlays are nice because if there are any issues you take them off and start over. Paint is much more of an investment. I had a couple sets of Bat's overlays and they are top quality. Install is a bit of a bitch but so is painting them.
