Should I get a spoiler or some subs and amp first?

 

Absolutely must have clear bra ASAP imop. Protect that nose before it gets dinged up. I had 4 chips in the first 2 weeks i owned mine.

Ditto on what RJP6 said - a clear bra is of utmost importance! Repainting the front end of the "G" is not cheap, and will never look right, either.

I had one chip in my first week of ownership, less than 300 miles, and our paint is definitely weak on these cars (as are most cars in this EPA mandated "weak paint" era, I was advised by my local body shop).

Protect your investment now, while waiting to examine your options for future mods. Then, it's a personal call as to whether to go with cosmetic upgrades (window tint, rims, debadging, etc.); performance upgrades (Z Tube, catback exhaust, plenum, etc.); or enjoyment upgrades (stereo enhancement/replacement; DVD player or modification to Navi system to play DVD's, radar detectors, etc.), and in what order.

Clear Bra? It really depends on the kind of terrain/areas you drive. I have had my car for 16 months, and 14K miles and so far have no chips on the front. Plus those bras turn yellow and crack over the years. A fiend of mine with an 2001 M3, just had his removed, and the car had only 5,000 miles on it. Go figure!!! So, a I am not sure if a clear bra is so important. Now, what I do have is a chip on the right rear quarter panel. Do they make full body bras?

I've had my G for about 3 months, here's the order I went:

-Z tube
-Z Pedals
-Clear Signals
-Z Suspension
-Stillen Airbox
-Sirius radio
-Components/Amps/Sub

I was planning on getting a spoiler with the Sirius but didn't.

I'm on the fence now about more appearance mods (body kit, wheels) as they really just make your car look better to others (while you're driving). And since I drive so much, I went with the stereo as it's more for me. Well, and all the neighbors that I annoy...

do you lose low end with the Z tube?

 

What are you looking for? Bling Bling$$$ or performance?

If you're looking for performance get a Kaaz Limited slip differential.

If you're looking for Bling.......I don't have a clue.

No low end loss with the tube, I actually had the tube leftover from my Z because I didn't bother switching it out with the Nismo intake in installed on the Z when I traded it in for the G. Hope that makes sense. Anyways, the tube will give it a bit more growl and maybe 5 hp. I felt it even more when I put on the stillen, and I don't think it was just in my head because when I put the Nismo on the Z, it was louder but I noticed no performance gains, and as I'm usually pretty pessimistic when it comes to performance mods (other than cams or FI...)
