Performance wise i take it
Well stock is300 VS. stock g35. G35 has more power, better drifting potential because of longer wheel base, even though i have the sport suspension on the g, the IS handled better in corners. overall i like both of the cars alot. Now the supercharged IS3 was a whole diff story

Oh a 2-door. Nice
One of the guys in our car club has a 98 2-door in World Rally Blue.
He had a 00 4-door in Blue Ridge Pearl (love that color) but a conversion van pulled out in front of him and put an end to the poor subie

Tuff to call man...Both are nice cars inside & out. I think the Lexus has a nicer interior compared to my 03 g35. Although the IS3 had more road noise than the G, but that can depend on hwy roads and tires as well. IMO the G35 has a smoother ride, but softer suspension.
Reason I asked is because I knew a guy with a IS300 that couldn't get more that 19 out of it (he had a bit of a lead foot though
)I considered the IS before I bought the G, but that kind of mileage turned me off to the idea.
Still glad I ended up with the G though, much more room in the back seat.
BTW, just noticed... we have the same year and color

You should consider Z suspension and sways, that should help get the G a little bit better in the cornering dpt.
hrm more road noise huh. well that makes me happy I choose the g i guess...ive always liked IS300s but it just seemed worse in every category aside from looks and interior
I thought the IS would have drank gas too, I think its supposed to get worse mpg then the g, my bro had a 92 lexus sc300 5 speed and it was pretty damn thirsty, the g seems to hover between 18 and 20 for me, i think the sc was doing like 14-17, it also had 190k on it but the engine ran fine...although the oil light was starting to come on a few days before it got totalled by a dodge ram that lost its steering
i think the IS has VVT-i which may have made it a bit more fuel efficient. I liked the 2jz-ge though, very smooth and sweet sounding, but the VQ definatly has more *****
