What Car/s did you own before your G?
should have swapped to the 6MT from the CL-S or the next gen TL(if that works). I think the problem is exacerbated by using the tiptronic function.
so far in my experience I've had 2 nissans that needed motors an acura and a toyota that needed trannies...lol
in fairness to all these cars, the RSX tranny failures were pretty much 100% my fault..(although it did have 3rd gear popout), the celica just couldnt handle hard shifts to 2nd gear which were necessary to stay in the powerband and the G probably could have kept going for quite a while if I just added oil...the sentra SE-R on the otherhand was a pile of pooo

So what made you pick the G over an 04+ TL? Like the RWD of the S2k but didn't like the FWD of the newer TLs?
thats why I did. I had a TL loaner and it was just so poorly balanced and prone to understeer...the TSX actually drives much better...not that you asked me..lol
(G is also a good bit cheaper..lol)

Sold her to kill some debt, Yep auto like all cars bought with no intention to Mod after the tint it was all down hill. That tranny was smooth as butter handled the power with no issue at all.
I believe the 04+ TL had tranny problems too. That's probably one of the main reasons why I didn't get one.

The MS6 was great. I wanted a G35 at the time, but the price was too high, and I got a killer lease deal on the MS6.
It handled very well and was quick, but like all my other Mazdas, had ECU issues and was really picky about the type of fuel you put in and would hesitate under full throttle at times.
Otherwise, it was a fantastic car. I would still be driving it today if things hadn't worked out the way they did.
Ended up selling out of the lease early, because my wife and I started carpooling in her car, which she still has today (2002 Nissan Sentra GXE) and the MS6 was sitting in the driveway getting driven only on weekends.
I hated paying the insurance and lease payments for how little I was driving it and got the cheapest thing I could at the time (the Jeep Grand Cherokee).
