What Car/s did you own before your G?

The MS6 was great. I wanted a G35 at the time, but the price was too high, and I got a killer lease deal on the MS6.
It handled very well and was quick, but like all my other Mazdas, had ECU issues and was really picky about the type of fuel you put in and would hesitate under full throttle at times.
Otherwise, it was a fantastic car. I would still be driving it today if things hadn't worked out the way they did.
Ended up selling out of the lease early, because my wife and I started carpooling in her car, which she still has today (2002 Nissan Sentra GXE) and the MS6 was sitting in the driveway getting driven only on weekends.
I hated paying the insurance and lease payments for how little I was driving it and got the cheapest thing I could at the time (the Jeep Grand Cherokee).

I was happy up until a piston got loose and was hitting the head and not compressing air. Stealership said they didnt know what was wrong after I had told them, they didnt want to do anything and waited until my warranty ran out. So I sold the vehicle to a mechanic who took it apart in his own time and fixed the problem for almost no cost to himself besides his labor. It was a quick L6, I had the K&N 77 series intake and custom Magnaflow exhaust, the sound was amazing it almost sounded like the 99-04 mustang gt.

Hmmm, there are certain parts of the 70's I don't recall, like 1971, 1972. Anyway, kidding apart -First car - 1965 Impala fastback, red, black interior. Looked great, bad reliability. Thank God parts in the 70's were like $19 - $29 for alternator, power steering pump, etc. Took a 1/2" and 3/4" sockets to take apart the whole dam-n car.
These are not neccessarily in the correct time order -
1969 Roadrunner 4 spd - fastest car I've owned - only 98MPH top end, but it got there really (reeely) fast.
1965 Mustang 2+2 fastback -
1966 VW Beetle - great winter car : )
1974 - Nissan 240Z - I start to "get" the Z enthusiasam.
1972 Ford pinto station wagon - potential for a 351CI, but never did it.
1977 Toronado - Great Car!
1984 - Nissan 300ZX - one of my funnest, most reliable cars.
1949 88 - Olds Rocket V8 - It was like new, but I could not use it.
1989 Jeep Cherokee pickup - 4X4 - 4.0 L - great truck.
1997 Olds Aurora - the best interior, cool looking, but the worst reliability.
1997 Ford F-150 ext cab, 4wd- 5.4, 3.55 gears - still have it with 67K miles - love it.
2004 - G35X -Now turned 12K miles - love driving it, but I think the inside is boring.

No I never logged on, i noticed there was a ton of flaming and didnt find it useful from what i read the times i visited. G35driver is a much better community

In 2001 my last year in high school my parents bought me a 2000 dodge neon I added 18s on that kept it to 2004 when i traded it in for a 2004 nissan sentra. That was to slow so I wanted a v6 so in 2007 I got me a 06 hyundai sonata v6 with 20s added k&n intake. On july 8 2010 my life changed for ever when I traded my sonata in for a 06 infiniti g35x
