No blue that I can tell - I guess they aren’t HID... I forgot to look at them when the car was out to see if it has a wire at the tip or DR2 at bottom... too busy messing around with intake and ground wires - engine bay dress up project is driving me nuts... I'll look for the markings if I remember next time the car is out.
Apart from color, when turned on HID's flash brightly almost instantly, dim, then slowly heat up to the correct color/brightness. They also turn off almost instantly versus halogen bulbs which take time to heat up (when first turned on) and cool down (when turned off). Even the best halogen bulbs exhibit a ton more yellow light than a factory HID setup.

BTW, my 2003.5 has HID, Bose stereo/6 disc and leather but no passenger power seat, no homelink/auto dimming rear view and no reclining rear seats.

I'm sure you could just buy that option without the other features... When I was buying my ride at Infiniti, this other dude was buying an FX and I could over hear him breaking everything out with his salesman À la carte...

I dont recall any dimming down - they turn off instantly... also, they turn on instantly - the yellow was for tenths of a second, then white. When turned off they go completely off - I'm doing some engine bay stuff today - I'll look at the actual bulb for markings (unless I forget as usual)

Nope, no HID for you... Do you have an auto adjusting review mirror?
