Sorry the video of all the AM runs is WAY too big to get hosted right now. Someday we will get a bunch of separate clips together for all the guys who ran the am. I'd like to associate the names with the cars and runs. This is the only one I knew both participants in.

Nice vid...would u say the plenum or the pulley more of an affect?

 

plenum plenum plenum - the pulley is a nice little addition too for lower end punch and prob helps off the line a small bit. The plenum and the pulley are great together.

Sixfive...I have the anodized blue plenum on mine now with the NISMO mid pipe...both are a lot more about weight savings than power...but I think, when I get the K&N Typhoon CAI on there with the Injen Heat Shield and my Crawford (latest) Version plenum that's due over the next two weeks it will really wake up...than it will be low to mid 14s in the summer heat, but when the cool less humid fall comes around I am hoping for a nice 13.9 God willing...after tasting multiple 14.2s in this auto I think I am going to sell my Mustang when it gets back from being painted. You just can't fight technology.

whaddaya think about the 277 HP/270 Trq G35 Auto Sedans for 05? Where is the power coming from and our we going to see bone stock sedans and coupes in the mid to high 13's?

Bossho, im getting my pulley's in this weekend and was looking for a mid pipe and at the Helix test pipes. How are the helix test pipes and will I notice anything from them? I am also getting the plenum but dont know which to go with, crawford or kinetix! 1 last thing, where did you get your nimo mid pipe and is it stupid getting test pipes and mid pipe if im getting borla exhaust? Thanks

I doubt the extra 17 hp or whatever it ends up being makes a Huge difference. You and I will have more hp than the 05 for sure unless there is something we don't know yet or 17 is just a lie... The coupe being 29o something cant be right - the sedan has more room for imrovement.

Maybe the increase will be from all ecu changes and we can get the upgrade at the dealer!

Not sure i want any exhaust changes so I may not be keeping up with you boss...thinking twin turbos in 08. Should only have about 50-60k miles or so then. This way the future wife can get the m45 or the 545 :-)

PS dont these automatic tranny's rock! Wondering how much power they can take? Also how is the new plenum and pipe?

First off I apologize...I meant to say Pulley when I said anodized blue plenum. I can't even remember what color crawford plenum I ordered at this point b/c it's been so long and the supply and demand thing going on over there is awful. So right now I have a stock plenum, stock ecu, Frankencar hybrid CAI...that I painted blue to match my Grounding Kit with Blue wires and some other brackets I painted blue...and then I have the Unorthodox Crank Pulley in blue (I went with the crank pulley only for the big weight savings vs the oem pulley more than the under drive and I stayed away from the other pulleys so I didn't have to worry about cooling and or the AC killing the battery which happened on my 94 SHO when I did all three pulleys) and the NISMO mid pipe I got

weighs a ton less than the oem pipe while sounding 99% stock so don't worry about that like I was...I wanted it to sound stock albeit the CAI sounds the ***** at WOT...

With the Pulley and the Mid Pipe on there I can't feel a difference so I am hoping the Crawford really wakes it up...when I ran the 14.2 it was bone stock except for the grounding kit and the CAI...no pulley or pipe.

Yes, indeed. There is a guy with Vortech s/c pushing 390whp on a 5AT coupe and ran 12.2. So far so good!
