I have tried everything to get these things off. I had a temp plate on there now need to put the real plate on. I have tried drilling, WD40, screwdriver, even a crobar and nothing. It lets me back the screws out to a certain point they they just go into a dead spin cant move foward or back. Now I really want to get them off because I cracked up the plastic cover and bent the chrome surround. Any Suggestions.

 

don't really understand your problem,but here goes.grab the head with a plier or vise grip and pull as you turn.if that doesn't work you will have to cut the screw heads off.use a hacksaw blade or die grinder,{dremel} they are threaded clips so if you get the screw heads off you will be able to wiggle them out of the bumper.good luck be patient
