Those very wide opening rear doors make it easy to install another child/baby seat!!

My wife is pregnant with our 2nd child. I'm ecstatic!! My son will have a little brother or sister (we're not going to peek). Over the year and half I've had the G, it has been a great family car.

Yeah I'll be profiling with my two car seats in the back. Looking back on my single days, I could not imagine myself thinking how cool it is to have two carseats in my sport sedan but for me I rather be happy with two child carseats than cool with none.
There is no greater JOY than being a daddy and driving a G35 sedan. Heck,... I'm cool and a happy dad!

Hey congratulations! That's the reason why I also chose the sedan over the coupe. Trouble is, I'm still waiting for my first child. Hopefully soon. The sedan rocks. It's a great sleeper out on the road.

 

Thanks Oscar, just hang in there, it will happen. My wife and I were married for 7 years before the birth of our first. At one point I did not think I would ever have children.

Make sure you enjoy your time before kids because after they come your life changes and so does your wife!!

I have done quite a bit of comparison before buying the sedan. I finally narrowed it down to the G and the TL. TL is a better looking car and better interior. But the G beats it in handling, stopping. Both have very good engines. I also want a car that does well in snow so I picked the G. I used to own a CLs, but Acura had some issues with rotors and tranny.

Hmmm I've had a sedan already and I'm single...turning 31 next week...UGHHHH

Well when I had my sedan...all I can say is that it got me some A** in the back seat so much room and so comfy..wait i'm thinking out loud again...it feels like a couch when you're in the back and stretch out your feet over armrest...almsot like you're at home specially if you've got the navi hooked up to play movies...I looked at the TL and 330i...I wanted something different..Surprisgly the CPE cost less for my 2004 than my 2003.5 sedan w/navi sport package!

It was still worth it...wish they had a stick available for us 03.5 sedan owners...oh well I'm happy with my cpe I'm single..it's usually just me in the car or a nice lady friend <wink>

try profiling with 4 kids in the car (my two boys and my girlfriends kids). I do it all the time.

All I have to say is when I am 43 all my kids will be done with high school.

then it will be whatever is the best coupe out there for me.

I have a 1 1/2 year old and another due in October, thus the sedan instead of the coupe.

The sedan is great as baby transport, the wide opening rear doors are great! Another plus is the reclining rear seats (prem option) which make it easy to tighten up the baby seat after you put it in. I'm using the Britax rigid-latch seat and it works great (they don't make them any more, though).

I think the sleeper aspect of the sedan has also kept the tickets down as I usually drive a bit fast and have fun occasionally kicking the tail out around corners. I do keep the VDC on when the baby's in the car, though. I autocross a couple times a month to really get crazy and get it all out of my system (highly recommended).

My current plan is to trade in the '04 sedan for an '06 coupe when the new baby has his (yes, we peeked) first b-day and graduates out of the rear facing seat. Maybe they'll have the 400hp twin turbo version out by then :-).

 

SfrRacer congrats to you as well! For me I don't know about the 400hp twin turbo coupe but I was seriously considering buying the 2006 M45 sedan 340hp. I will be driving a sedan for a long time. We'll see how the finances are after the next kid arrives. All the best to you and your new son to be!
