25% FTW =)... only got 1 ticket, but thats cause I hooked up with the officers daughter hahah.. thats the one and only time the law was concerned with my tints

I just got my tints done today. I got 5% which I believe is also known as limo tints in the back. I didn't get the front two windows tinted because NJ cops love to give out tint tickets.

 

Haha i know exactly what you mean, im in the Middlesex area.. east brunswick to be exact.. what about you?

 

I just bought my first G, and I'm not sure what the tint is. The guy I bought it from just said to have it inspected by somebody who will "cheat" for you because it's less than 35% (NC law).

My question is: If you get pulled and ticketed for tint, is it insurance points? Or just a fine?

 

I got 35% on the front 2 windows and 15% on the rest of the sedan. I think 25% is legal in TX.

 

Nope.. no points.. just a fine... in New jersey its a $45 fine..
