My new Ride!
My new Ride!
Hi folks,
I've been lurking here for months reading all the great posts. I picked up my G35 MT yesterday. Twilight Blue with Willow interior. This car rocks! Faster than my old 99 Mustang GT. Just thought I'd share this with y'all.

Congrats and welcome to G-dom! Jabba...
As a former Mustang LX and T-bird LX owner I can relate to your experience. The G is certainly a major lifestyle upgrade. I've had mine since mid-April and still look forward to the daily commute everyday. My first service date is next week...Wow time flies when you're driving fast.

Congrats on the purchase, and I'm still basking in that new G35 aura too [only had mine for about 3 weeks now]. I too bought the 6MT version - I love to row through the box!
Re: My new Ride!
Thanks for buying the Infiniti.
I just say that because with your purchase and mine and all the others that post here, we're giving our brand a fighting chance. Lexus outsells Infiniti 3-to-1 and Toyota has 12.4% of the US market compared to Nissan's 5.4%. I care about this because Mitsubishi is down to 1% and that's getting close to nill. So buying a Nissan/Infiniti is not only good for the thrill of the ride, it means strong support on warranty/service issues and the possibility of even better G35s in the future.
PS Don't forget the break-in routine. It kind of sucks but the benefit is a longer lasting ride.

Re: My new Ride!
Thanks to all for the congrats. I love this car. Break in schedule says don't ride more than 4000 rpm's, don't wop it and don't slam the brakes. Is there anything else I should be concerned with based on the groups experience?
