PLEASE HELP...damaged my rim today

Hey everyone. I am soo pissed. Today a curb jumped out at my G. I have the stock 17" sedan rims and the rear passenger side rim has a bit a curb rash on it. I will attach a pic. Can someone comment on how you can go about fixing this (where to take it) and how much they think it will cost. Thanks so much in advance.

I guess if you have a full size spare you could always just swap the rim out and toss that one in the trunk. It should be fine for everyday driving, and more than adequate for emergency situations.

Re: PLEASE HELP...damaged my rim today

I say live with it. Of course, that may not be an option.

Reason 1) Damn tough to notice when driving car.

Reason 2) Damn tough for others to notice when driving at speed.

Reason 3) Money better spent on _______. (Fill in blank.)

Reason 4) Who cares what others think about your rim.

Reason 5) It will always remind you to be careful of curbs.

I could go on and believe me, I've been in your shoes on this one. And I've felt the same way - got to get it fixed. I just think your particular damage is minor and I'd hate to see you spend your hard earned cash when a blemish of this sort is relatively minor.

Re: PLEASE HELP...damaged my rim today

Just got mine repaired at the dealership for about $130 a rim and it's perfect..I suppose it depends on how much you notice it.
