6 year anniversary was in February now she's just about broken in. No oil burning - no tranny issues - never once has she even bucked or hesitated. I'm not touching the MAF until something goes wrong. Another 6 years and I'll be good and ready for a next gen XKR or who knows by then. 550i?

You have low miles. I expect my 05 to hit the big 5-0 this summer... or by next winter lol

Averaging about 7k per year. Getting the value out of her now and focusing on other priorities - nice car to buy and hold - love the 4 door Z!

Nice mod list. If you spurge, you might want to consider a reflash.

Right on! My 03 G has been the same way. I just passed 70K this weekend. The only issues I've had is a rocking seat (fixed under warranty, issue came back and fixed myself),squeaking pulley when I first start the car (since I bought it back in Jan 05), and a burned out clock bulb. The car has surpassed my expectations in terms of performance (14.3s stock) and comfort. It's like a good pair of jeans. It's not perfect (paint sucks) and couple door dings that need fixing, but overall it's been a great car. Sometimes I wish I had a manual, but when I read about all the 6MT/clutch issues, I'm glad I passed because if I drove the G 6MT like I did my prior 96 Maxima 5MT, I surely would have been through 1 or 2 trannies and a couple clutches by now. The 6MT in these is just weak when it comes to hard driving.

I've got Bell paddle shifters on the way which should spruce up the driving experience. I plan on keeping this car for a long time and getting an S2000 or new gen Miata in the next couple of years as an auto-x/weekend car.

I have 77k on my '05. I plan on giving it to my daughter in 2 years (or maybe turining into an tack car) and getting a new Z.

Paddle shifters? hmmm. How much is that gonna run and how many hours?

I need a toy car too. The G could be it in a while if i keep it when i upgrade down the road. Would like to build a weekend racer that I can run at events. I'm 6'4" so the G is not such a bad starting point. Getting a miata or s2000 would be fun but for my large *** frame.
