So I just changed the incabin air filter at 37000 miles...

changed mine at 57k after seeing this thread and it looked like the pics above as well. better to have a clean one than not know whats in it

I agree, it really wasn't clogged or anything, but I had done the work to get it out, so I figured I'd put the new one in since I had it and be good for another 100,000 km.

I would have done the same. Might as well change it while you are in there.

When the HVAC is in "recirc" mode, does it pass air through the filter??

Or does it pass through the filter from the outside only?
