Will not start
2 nights ago I was pulling into a space quickly, I had the stereo loud and closed the sunroof, and rolled up all 4 windows simultaneously. The windows stopped rolling up, as if a fuse blew.... the car would not start up, the interior lights wouldnt go on, and when i tried the electric start nothing happened, it didnt try to turn over at all, not a sound. After 15 minutes I slammed the passenger door and the car started right up.... It worked fine all day today in and out, and I just went to start it and the same thing happened. You cannot unlock the doors with the inside button, nothing works at all. I slammed the door and the lights came back on for a sec.... is this a simple dead battery? Its an 05 g35 sedan with the tech package..... could a blown fuse be doing all this??? I am a noob when it comes to cars, but thanks in advance!!!!
If it was completely blown it would not come back on. Sounds more like a short in a connection. Maybe something got wet that shouldn't have. Have you cleaned your engine bay lately or has it been really rainy? Just my guess.
Firs thing I would check it the battery connection. Make sure the battery is connected and the terminals are not corroded. If they are corroded, just pour some baking soda and water over them and scrape with a wire brush or terminal cleaner.
