Just bought my G yesterday. It's a 2003 sedan, Ivory pearl/willow, sport suspension. I really love it. Can't believe I found a forum also. This is going to be fun.

Re: New owner

Congrats on your new car and welcome to the forum. I'm a relatively new G35 owner too, and I've found this forum to be helpful. See you around...

Thanks guys. Any issues with mods voiding the warranty? I build hotrod Harleys so I like to modify. LOL

Re: New owner

Welcome to the forum Mark!

As far as mods go, there are several threads re the Magnusson-Moss Act.
"Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty- Federal Trade commission Improvement Act of 1975, aftermarket equipment that improves performance does not void a vehicle manufacturer’s original warranty, unless the warranty clearly states that the addition of aftermarket equipment automatically voids your vehicles warranty, or, that the aftermarket device is the direct cause of the failure. "

It also depends on how mod-friendly your dealership is.

Depending on your views on break-in period, you may also wish to wait a bit before any of the more aggressive mods.
