We are almost done with our first round of creating parts for the coupe and we are having a sedan dropped off in the shop for us to play with next week. =)

Please provide your input as to what parts you guys would like made. I know the sedan hasn't gotten much love and we're here to help!

We've had suggestions for the following:

Hood
Trunk
3 piece lip spoiler
1 piece lip spoiler
Roof spoiler
Front bumper lip
Scuff plates

 

Interior trim kit(s)
door sills
engine cowl (+ 1 to fit aftermarket plenums)
rear underbody spoiler thingy (bottom of bumper)
assorted small "stuff" under the hood (caps & covers)
airbox?

just some thoughts for function and show

I'm down for a front bumper lip...just like the lip for M3 aftermarket lips...but something compatible with the NISMO front bumper for the sedan.

Engine cover to fit the stock plenum without the cut-out for the resonator, and a few ventilation slots at the front of it.

If you decide to make a hood for the G35 sedan, please make one with a design that accommodates Stillen's Supercharger. (Can you make a CF hood that color-matches "garnet fire"?)

Can you make full A-pillar triple gauge pods that complement the G35's willow interior?

How about a CF engine plenum cover?

How about a CF version of the Stock and/or Stillen airbox?

How about a CF z-tube?

And what would a CF Trunk look like? Just a replacement truck lid made of carbon fiber? Would that match?

 

Wald Body Kit for the Sedan has a rear lip spoiler option. It's very expensive though.

Yeah, a small front lip for the Nismo factory body kit would be great, a small M3 style spoiler would be nice, hood and trunk also....

consider the lip spoiler a done deal. we have a couple designs to choose from so i'll let you guys decide which one would work best on the car.

 

we're about 80% sure that we'll make a hood. can i see a show of hands of how many of you would buy a CF hood?

 

ok guys, i just visited the shop today (btw, mine is the test car) and its very professional and the stuff they make is awesome. the finished products were flawless and the shop isnt some small shop with a couple of items only. They have hoods, spoilers, lips, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. for a LOT of different cars. And they are real, so there is no ducati guy imitator here.

so far, the items on the list are most likely lip spoiler a la M3, hood, and maybe a roof spoiler. one suggestion was an engine cover, but not a CF replica of the stock one. you have to use your imagination a bit here, but it would be a thin piece of CF placed on the plenum itself to cover up that ugly sucker.

also a possiblilty is CF battery covers for both sides. and maybe a CF air collector thingy that is in the front, center of the engine bay. (once again guys, stock airbox is the way to go believe it or not)

we considered a CF Z-tube, but its just not practical to make it and there are a lot of dash kits out already. CF trunk is also a bit of a strange piece that probably wont be made. CF grill would be too hard to make.

look for these to be released in a bit over a month. maybe 2.

oh yea, one cool thing I found out at the shop, you can special order CF parts in different color fibers (ie red, silver, blue, etc) very nice.
