Is there anyone specific I should ask for tomorrow? I appreciate you doing this and I hope you enjoy the straight mid.

Swapped out the mid today, thanks Stephen (sp?) for making it happen. Initial impressions were mostly positive and damn the exhaust got quiet in the cabin. Sounded very similar to the coupe mid, HR Y, 05 muffler combo and cruising at 70 the exhaust was virtually silent until the gas was pressed. Top end was night and day quieter than with the straight mid.
Difference on the lower end was a little less dramatic as the exhaust still has a deep rumble up through 3000 RPMs then opens up when I get on it. Outside the car, the best analogy I can make about the sound is my car now sounds like a coupe on steroids. Exotic, deep, smooth and oh so sexy. And the other thing I can't get over is how hard my car pulls in the upper end now. I can only imagine how it will feel with a re-flash.
I'll get an updated vid in the next couple of days.

^ refering to the power: I felt the same way, car pulls harder at top end, but slap on some art pipes and it pulls that much more! Low end grunt too
Sound= agreed, that's how I try to explain it. Exotic for sure

Anything is possible James but you need to fix your door, qtrs, decklid, and hub bearings before you get to do anything else. lol
Was good to meet you Tim. Hope you enjoy the midpipe. I cant wait to go all motordyne if everything falls into place

Now I want me some ART V2-2!!!!!!
Definitely is possible.
You'd have to do one of 2 things though:
1. Cut the trunk well out where the spare goes, because the tips go right through where it is so it would be in the way.
2. Cut the tail end part of the exhaust and re-weld it to go further out, around the spare tire well so you don't have to cut it out

^ If you can squeeze 'em in before the meat next month, do it! The ART pipes V1 are probably just as good assuming you can find a used set for a little cheaper. The extra low-end power will make you giggle. Or laugh maniacally.
What a nice way to break 'em in by doing so over the trip here and back again - this idea makes too much sense

Dude quit supporting my destructive habit.
I had money set aside in May and blew it on mods. Then I had money set aside in June, blew it on mods. Fast forward to today, I had money set aside and blew it on mods. Now I'm in scramble mode to save the funds and you want me to blow it on a what? A mod? Unfortunately I think that's a GREAT idea!
On a serious note, don't the V1s have an issue fitting the 5AT like the V2-1 do? If not I'd rather find a used set than pay full MD retail.
