The V-band clamps only need to be tightened to 70 INCH pounds torque.
And there is a small bracket and heatshield that will need to be removed to fit the resonated midpipe.
Other than that installation is very easy. And you can always call me if you have any questions during your install.

Just got my Motordyne VQ system installed today.
Took off my HKS rear section and coupe midpipe. Sound is very similar to the HKS but is a more linear sound. I'm running a UT y-pipe that I need to swap out. Its rattling from scraping. But, it sounds great.
I need the XYZ pipe now... perfect time to change. I'll try to get a video clip up soon.

Very cool.
Your sound clip will make a very good benchmark comparison against Profanity Petes sound clip.
You have the VQ with the non-resonated mid pipe.
Profanity Pete has the VQ with the resonated midpipe.
It will be great to see/hear these two sound clips side by side. The resonator makes a pretty substantial difference on the sound.

The HFC is already available as part of the XYZ. The resonated test pipes are next in line for production.

If you tighten more than this, just loosen it up and re-tighten to hand tight.
If you only have a regular ratched wrench you can use that too but be sure to tighten it with only ONE hand. And that should do it.
I'm curious to how much of a different sound the resonator will make. My exhaust will sound different because of the headers and HFC that I have. I swear you can hear the headers all the way to the back now when I'm idling.

The difference is probably best left for sound clips to illustrate but without the resonator, it has more of a sporty sound. Like something you would more often hear on a 350Z exhaust.
With the resonator it makes it closer to the stock sedan sound.
