Not the gas cap, checked that and the light has been on for a few weeks, no issues in terms of engine stability/performance, drove 200 miles yesterday with it

it is the gas cap, clean the rubber seal on it, & check the filler neck if its rusty, cover the hole with rags and sand the rust off, did the trick for me, engine light dosen't come on anymore

Hmm, well I cleared the code last night when I took the car to Advanced, but I'll check to see if it's rusty.

Not since I've owned the car, no. Which is coming up on 2 years ago in June.

I think I had the same code before. There was a sticky check valve in the EVAP system in the back of the car.

Take your car to the dealer, I'm about to do that as I keep getting the light whenever I fill up

I've had the recall done already and they charge me 1hr labor to diagnose anything since my warranty expired a few months ago
