Just bought a 2004 G for 14,200.

Hey this is my first post and was jsut trying to get some introductions here. Just drove my baby home tonight. 2004 Infiniti Sedan Ivory Pearl with 47,000 miles for 14,200. Was this a good deal?? I thought it was.

I love it so far. ill try and post pics here shortly. Im gonna full detail it on Sunday afternoon so hopefully by monday. Cant wait to start modding and learning some stuff from everyone here. Im sure ill spend 90% of my fre time working on my car or looking on here to find something to do to it. Any tips for a newbie right out of the gate?? thanks

Jet(yes its my real name)

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Can we please stop this madness?. One more post of "did I get a good deal" and I'm going to to go postal at an HEB or somewhere.

If you want to know if you got a good deal, look at autotrader or cars-for-sale and see for yourself. Price is relative relating to many factors; geographical location, options, condition of car, etc.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you like your car, can afford the payments, and would make the same deal again if you had the chance you got a good deal.

These posts make people look insecure and it seems to me like they are looking for validation to make themselves feel better. Be happy with your car and leave it at that. You bought one of the most enjoyable cars to drive out there in my opinion.

Do a lot of reading on here to learn what you can about your G. There is a wealth of information to be had in this site. I am in no way an old-timer here, became a member a month ago, but I have learned a sh!tload about my car in that time that only makes me love it more.

Welcome to G35 Driver and enjoy your new ride. Sorry about the length of this post, but I had to get this out.

Mods, can we immediately ban any thread that starts out "did I get a good deal" ?

Peace

Hi Jet,
I spent a few years out there in Eugene going to school. Have fun with that G on the back roads. Just make sure you have good rain tires. LOL.

for your area, that seemed to be the only deal in town. the only way you could have gotten a better deal is if you went all over the country. carmax could not even match that.

congrats, and welcome.
