Dude, I almost $hit my pants when I read your Dyno sheet...Mike Murillo is one of the greatest all time Mustang Drag Racers...I stopped folllowing the fun ford weekend events in Epping, NH once he retired a few years back...he had this sick blown car with an after cooler and then he had the Texas Lone Star car with a huge Star on the hood...wow...that's cool just seeing he's still doing all this sort of stuff...Anyway, 1.15 x your numbers are about 270 HP which is great for your mods! Have you taken it to the track yet? Let Mike drive and he'll be the first Guy to drive a basically stock G35 into the 13s...I would bet money on it!!!

Dyno it again at 17000 miles and I bet you gain almost 10 HP when the VQ loosens up some more.

Dude, those are some nice numbers for the mods you have. You should strap some more on and see what happens

Re: Had my 04 6mt Sedan dynoed today!

TX,

Very, very nice numbers. They are very consistent with your mods. On a stock car, a z-tube gives b/w 6-9hp, and a K&N (IMO) is good for AT LEAST half as much as a stillen/pop-charger gain. So, that brings your stock car at about 223-225 - VERY VERY consistent.

Very nice, i'm happy for you.

BTW: Your a/f, assuming it's accurate is near-PERFECT, smooth and dead-on wrt to the numbers.

TX,

BTW, what is the production date on your car? I am curious if it's ULEV or the newer ULEV2.

Great numbers! You wouldn't happened to have the dyno run files do you? Would love to check them out in detail.

Yea see my sig for my track time. Yep, I have known Mike Murrilo since he was racing as well. I actually helped him at a few events of his. He got out of the scene for a while, but got back into it again recently. He might start racing again.

Re: Had my 04 6mt Sedan dynoed today!

Nice numbers and seems on par with what we've all been saying along how a stock G35 Sedan 6MT is underrated and should have numbers much closer to the coupe 6MT. Assuming that your putting down 225 rwhp wihtout the intake mods and a 18% drivetrain loss, that would put your car at 275 at the crank. Much closer to the 280 of the coupe. Again, this has me wondering what Infiniti did with the '05 sedans to give it 277 hp at the crank. Maybe nothing at all mechanically???

Re: Had my 04 6mt Sedan dynoed today!

Very good #'s compared to my chart I thought. Especially on a 100 degree F day. Did you do any more pulls, or just the one? It's kind of hard to tell based on different scaling but, while the HP and TQ are very close, seems the Stillen combo may promote a bit more linear delivery?

2004 6mt Sedan (4001mi.) At the time, my only mods were:
Stillen CAB and X-pipe catback exhaust, 350Z upper intake tube, 6-wire GroundingGear™

Dyno w/ Stillen X-pipe for sedan
