Re: TechnoSquare Comments

Damm good runs!! Im gettin my Gtech soon, and all my mods in tomorrow, well new mods!! Here's the pic of that top speed run you were lookin for, img onna try and get a top speed run on mine. Just now, just got home and it was pulling sosos hard and I realized everytime I did a high speed run ont he service road which isnt that long I could get 125 and tonight the same. Why would it be taking so much longer fromt he highway (ex. 70 to get up to 140+) ? It seems like from a stop rowing through the gears is where you gain the most speed, not just stompin ont he gas on the highway. Am I right?

Re: TechnoSquare Comments

Ill,

I have no idea wtf is up with your car not pulling...are you towing an Acura behind you or something? ;-) You should be able to, as I have said several times, in any gear get going and/or leave it in D and hammer it at say 65 mph and in no time see 100 and in very little time 110...120...130...and then it starts to even off, but not by much....................135....................... .....................140.......................... .....................145 and then you are done till the TS ECU Reflash.

G_Monster,

I meant to ask you what Dry air filter do you recommend and from where? There are $80 NISMO ones and then there are Airinx II drop-in filters for $29.99. Thanks.

Re: air filter

I only used the Nismo at the rip off price thinking that they have done the optimal flow bench testing. Used K&N in the past, but fear of fouling the hotwire in the induction flow metering system with oil particles is the main reason to stay dry.

Re: TechnoSquare Comments

Well, I hit 150 mph in my 6MT when running a ummm modded neon SRT, but I didn't let off when he did, I just wanted to take it up to see how far I could go. It was still going strong at that point, but I didn't feel like chancing it anymore. The SRT though got me by one car from 50-100 then I started to pull on him and he would let off.

G35_TX:

Thanks for the input on top speed. Have you got a reflashed chip, or did your car allow 150 MPH with the stock chip? If it did, what is the build date on your car (mine's 12/2003).

Thanks for the info!

Re: TechnoSquare Comments

Thanks G35_TX:

I've only been 135 MPH, a couple times out on the Interstate here in Northern California - I'm curious to see if she'll top the 145 "limit", like yours.

Thanks !
