I have a 06 and when I leave for work in the morning or anytime after my car has set for a little while, when I take off and before 10 miles in hour is reached, it sounds like some kind of compressor is turning on. It is not the a/c or anything like that. Need help trying to figure out this noise. It's close to behind the dash, but in the engine compartment.

mine dose the same thing when i let go of the clutch

 

throw out bearing. they are noisy on these cars.
