I found a good local shop who will "professionally" paint my grill black leaving the Mount Fuji Infiniti symbol chrome. He says he will do it right and charge just under $200. He also would if I want paint all the chrome around the doors and paint the door handles black, and debadge he rear. He says he will do it right and will guarantee it against flaking etc, but can't guarantee that there won't be some scratches at some point. However I think scratches in flat black could be easily be touched up The full "black job" would however add up and cost at least another $800 in addition to the $200 for the grill. I think it would look really good to have the car Diamond Graphite body color, and all the chrome black, and the wheels black with the red line. I'll have to give it some thought.

no benefit with going coupe or Z springs at all other than price... people like to buy used z or coupe springs because they are cheap... you can by used Eibach for around $100-$150 (I sold a set for 100)... I dont know what coupe springs go for.
Where are you located I might have Eibach Sportline springs (kinda low maybe too low for what you are looking for) springs and low mileage tokico d-specs available soon (if you are local and interested).

it's pretty low (not sure exactly how many inches)... I don't think it would be a good idea for an X... you can try if you want to - but I don't want you to be disappointed later... check out pics from the sedan photo shoot (in the picture share section) to see what the ride height looks like (mine is the grey sedan).

I went to a place called East Coast Kustmrydz in Worcester Mass, and they are going to paint my grill black just leaving the Mt Fuji chrome. They're also going to paint all the other chrome pieces on the car black except the door handles are going to be painted the color of the car. The back of the car I'll debadge except I'll live the Mt Fuji infiniti symbol. They gave me a price considerably below the body shop that I went to, and they understood what I'm in to doing, and looking at the work they've done for other people it looks like they'll do it right. Also they can do it more or less right away. Told me I can bring it in on Wednesday.

BC Racing Coilovers (Fully adjustable height+dampening)
Most Recent crappy iPhone Pic (Blacked out door handles and clears with vinyl, unrelated to this thread but highly recommended to any other Black Obsidians out there for a super clean/flush look)
