You can use suspension from the following

2003-2006 G35 sedan
2003-2007 G35 coupes
2003-2008 350Z

R&E that looks nice as is. Does your car align with in factory spec with the Z springs ? My other G did with Z springs.

I wonder how those rims would look painted dark gray ?

I think you should go with h&r sedan springs a nice even drop but the ugly 03-04 front bumper does make the front look higher.

Alignment is in specs.

Rims will be painted gunmetal after I finish a few things.

Will Sedan springs lower it more than it is now???? It was my impression Sedan springs did not go 2 inches.

Bumper will be replaced with a Strafe poly Nismo as soon as I receive it any day now.

so how does you G35x sedan ride with the Z springs.. have heard reports before about the rear being a little bouncy on the road... ok for girlfriends... not so much for a G.

I have revised Z springs on both of my G35's and have zero complaints about the ride on either. I'm about to put H&R springs on my X probably this weekend becasue I'm not happy with the ride height they did on my X. My 03 RWD G sedan the ride height and ride quality is perfect with the Z shocks and struts. It could possibly go a little lower still but considering the car looked mkuch better and still aligned within factory specs it's a very econimical way to go. No hassel and expensive camber kits needed to get it aligned propery to save the tires.

I'd put on your new bumper and paint your rims I want to see that since my X is silver too. Mess with your suspension again after that with the front bumper on you may even decide not to go lower becasue it will look lower / better in the front plus the front bumper already will cost you ground clearance as is. The front bumper + more lowering will really cost you ground clearance. If you don't care about ground clearance and are ready to go all out with other suspension mods that it will require then go for it but I'd still do the bumper and paint the wheels first then decide.

I have great news for my fellow first gen G35x owners. My guy just prototyped a set of Ksport coil overs on my car (not BC or Megan) and it is running freaking amazing. I don't even need a new swaybar. I will be posting pics when the springs settle.
