Question

Can anyone compare/contrast these two setups on my '06 G35 Sedan Sport RWD?
  • Eibach Pro-Kit & OEM Sport shock/struts + Hotchkis sways
  • H&R & OEM Sport shock/struts + Hotchkis sways[/SIZE]
Again, I'm looking to improve handling, get a mild (~1") drop, and keep my highway ride intact.

SDGenius... you've run both of these setups... care to comment?

eibach pro kit

Eibach pro kit, tokico hp shocks in the rear and KYB GR2 up front, 245/40/19 Michelin pilot sports, M45 sport wheels. It lowered it alot more then 1.1" for some reason but I like the set up so far.
Before it was lowered..

well, i run Eibach's on my Wife's G w/sport shocks/struts and H&R w/Tokico HP's on my car. i'm on 19's, she's on 18's, i have sways w/front & rear strut/shock tower braces so it's hard to compare... all i can say is H&R's seem stiffer.

Thanks!

I think I'll go with H&R springs and Hotchkis sways.

What you got goin on with the rear Nyteowl? My rear is soon to look like that. Gonna cover up the rear wheels more by adding some FG since they stick out so much

I got the guards at mynismo.com for 45, without shipping..check them out..

The additional drop will add more camber and I'll see if it rubs. If Shane can do a flatter roll and I don't have to add camber that would be nice, if not then I'll add some more as needed. I'm not looking to pull my fenders. Not sure whats gonna happen up front because I don't have A-arms. I may need a larger spacer if it tucks in too much, we'll see.

The additional drop didn't help me any. I gotta go back to the alignment shop and go from -2.5 to -3.5 n the back. Hopefully you have better luck with the natural camber.

I'm the same way up front, if i lower anymore i might need spacers. Kinda want to get A-arms to fix the tuck issue but if i do that the camber up front won't match the rear...
