For those with the full Z suspension, can you use the stock top hats or do I need the top hats from the Z suspension? i have the full Z suspension off a 2005 Z. Getting ready to drop it on Thursday.

Hi there gang. I am new here. Got a G35x and will be running G37 rims 225/45/19 in front and 245/40/19 in the back. I need to lower it...there is a big ol' gap. Why has no one talked about coilovers? is there a reason that I have missed. Do you have any suggestions?

Cheers

thanks man but why are most people putting springs on? And if you were to put coils how do you figure out which ones? You know... the search for the perfect ride!

Cheers,
Was there a ride difference with the coilovers? What made you want to go through all the trouble of switching the coilover back to the springs? Have you had to place camber kits.

Cheers,
London Boy

- Sorry, I hope that I am not bugging you to much. I just want to do it once and right

^ Coils and springs are night and day in terms of handling and performance. The only reason i took them off because i got tired of having a stiff ride quality so i took them off. But i regret it now because coils handled so much better oh well. Do it right the first time and get the coils def worth the money.

I just put some 19 zenetti 8.5 f 245/40/19 and 9.5 r 265/35/19 on my 04 sedan. I want to avoid rolling the fenders and also avoid running a camber kit if I can. It looks like right now my wheels and tires sit flush or maybe a mm out from the fender. What suspension combo would you suggest that i get a good drop, but still avoid rubbing?

HElp! i have a 2005 G sedan, and i just put staggered 20's on it but i would like to lower it 1" or so with springs. Can anyone point me in the right direction? full coilovers with shocks are a little too expsensive, i was thinking just the eibach pro-kit. This car is a dialy driver, and i dont want the ride to be too stiff and feel every little bump. Can anyone recommend a set of springs to lower the car 1 inch or so that will give it a stock ride??? helppp!!

1" drop with nice ride = full 350z suspension. Struts and springs will run you anywhere from 120-200 shipped on this site. And because the springs will more than likely already be mounted it's a rather easy install on your own.

^^^How much lower would it be if I installed 350Z S-tech springs on a 2004 G35X? I'm looking for something at least 1.5" drop.^^^
