When you mount the bumper, the bolts that are inside your fender liner, replace those with zip ties. This way if the bumper drags on anything it has some give instead of a steel bolt cutting through the mounting point.

Any pictures sounds like a good idea..

I don't have any because it was only used for the last few weeks of my car being on the road.

You want as little holding the bumper on as possible that way when it drags or gets pushed you won't crack or fracture any of the glass mounting points.

After you glass it once you'll figure out the sweet spots lol

ok, question for the 1st gen sedan non-sport: Why are people getting 350z H-techs which lowers the car approx F1.3" R1.2" instead of the sedan H-techs which will lower the car approx F1.4" R.7"?? the rear is already lower than the front (at least on mine) SO shouldnt the sedan H-techs havea better drop??

Im going to order my suspension/wheels in a month or so thats why im asking. Im getting 19" Forgestar F14, F8.5 R10, offset F35 R45, Hankook V12 F225/40 R255/35. & Tokico HP depending on the spring i get.
Which H-techs would fit better with those wheels; the 350z or Sedan? i wont be doing any rolling of the fenders.

Please help if you can...

I Believe any 350z springs will lower a sedan an inch lower then it will lower a 350Z because they are designed to lower the 350z 1.2" so they will lower your sedan 2.2" Im not sure if im 100% correct on this if somebody who knows exact can chime in.

Yep, OEM Z springs will lower the sedan about 1", so if an aftermarket spring designed for the Z lowers an additional 1", then it will lower the sedan about 2" inches. So if you take an aftermarket spring that is designed to lower the sedan 1" and put it on a Z, then the Z will remain the same height because it already sits 1" lower than the Sedan. I don't know if I explained well enough to understand.

Coupe= .5" lower than sedan (give or take)
350Z= 1" lower than sedan (give or take)

Noooo, i guess i didnt explain myself good enough. the 350z H-techs are listed to drop the sedan F 1.3" R 1.2" (that includes the +1"). The sedan H-techs drop the sedan F 1.4" R .7" My rear is already lower than the front (about a 2finger gap).

so should i get the sedan H-tecs to get a better even drop, nah i mean?...

OK I know there is a tread for me to ask this question but I'll rather hear it from guys who already know the quality of a drop. I'm on 18's 8.5 width all round running 45 series tires, in Houston we have bumpy roads!!! I wanted to go tannable with a 1.7'' drop. My springs are already going bad but can anyone give me feedback on what the ride quality is when dropped almost 2 inches? I have fear of scrapping!
