Borla True Dual Install
I am installing a borla true dual on my sedan later today. Lookin for any tips from people that have done there own. I'll have access to a lift and someone to help me. Are there any tips for getting a really tight seal the whole way? I read something about using a sealent but have no idea what kind or where to procure it. Any help would be appreciated. Ill try and have sound clip and review up by this weekend.

Re: Borla True Dual Install
You're going to love it.
I did mine 2 weeks ago. Installed it myself with car on jacks.
Definitely get the sealant, I used a high temp silicone (used for high temp gaskets).
I didn't use it at first & had some minor leaks, had to go back & do it.
The install itself was a piece of cake.
When you take off the old system undo the hangars from the chassis then remove the rubber parts later. Use some dish soap to lubricate & they pop right off. (I prefer not use oil, it can affect some rubber) You can then install them onto the Borla.
I worked from the cats out. As you install, leave everything loose so that you can align for clearance. Put the silicone on as you go.
When you put on the clamps make sure they are on outside of pipe with nut on bottom (pic) This gives more clearance & is easier to clamp tight.
I used some blocks to hold things up untill I got to a hangar.
After aligning start to clamp up. Keep the clamps near the ends to get the best compression.
A deep socket is a good idea due to length of clamp bolt. (I think it is 15mm, not sure though)
That's about it. Enjoy!
Mine is just starting to break in, there is less drone now than when initialy installed.
PM me if you need any other info.

Re: Borla True Dual Install
All I can say is OH HELL YEAH!!!!!! This exhaust is awsome I love the sound. My butt dyno tells me I also picked up some horses in the upper RPM range. It also feels like throttle response is much better. The car sounds mean now, with no noticable drone. The volume increase is just right and is barely noticeable above 4000 RPM's. The Stillen must be way loud cause this exhaust is very close to stock sound. The rumble you get when you start it up is priceless. I took it in for service today and when the lot attendant started it up to move it everybody swung around to see what the heck just started up. There was a coupe guy there and he asked me if I had engine work done. I think he was a little jealous. I got a great deal on it too after looking around for a bit.
Exhaust Pros: 1-888-413-7767
pn# 1400093
They didn't have any in stock so they had it drop shipped from Borla to me.
$650 + 26 shipping form CA to MD.
OK gotta go pick my car up from the dealer, I checked my odometer so I'll know if they've been out joyriding .

Re: Borla True Dual Install
$650?!?! Everywhere i look it's atleast 800! I'm gonna order mine next week. When you start it up is the rumble like a deep growl? Or does it sound like the coupe, a little high pitched? Good luck with install.

I installed mine today in my garage. It took about 2.5 hours. The most difficult part was removing the stock exhaust, it is very heavy.
Installing the Borla was quite easy. All the pieces are very light weight and I had doubts at first, but they seem to line up very well. I wasn't able to get my torque wrench into the inner flanges so I had to torque them by feel.
Also, I thought I had everything lined up well, but after comming back from a test drive I noticed that the exhaust had shifted way back. I need to check it out tomorrow, but somehow it has shifted back. I am not sure if it is hitting some suspension components or what. It all looked ok before I took it of the safety stands, but I didnt really notice anything strange once I lowered it.
