BBK on the X?

Hey, anyone know of a BBK that fits on the X? I'm looking to get one for the X, and I have yet to find any that will fit the X. Anyone have one on here?

And then my second question is are there any that also will fit under OEM 17s?

Yeah, well a cheap BBK is about the same price as new calipers from the Dealer, and I'm outta warranty and the calipers are going.

If it's this one,
https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-fs-vdr/267222-infiniti-akebono-14-brake-kits-03-07-coupe-03-06-sedan.html
it won't fit on the stock 17's. I cut out the template and it definitely doesn't fit.

You can try this option: http://www.racingbrake.com/G35_non_B...70-211-0-1.htm
followed by this later: http://www.racingbrake.com/G35_4_pot...cpadbp-g35.htm

I'm probably going with a set of 05+ OEM's in the front, but I'm considering the Racing Brake option. I really want that Akebono setup, but I have winter tires on my stock 17's and it would cost me quite a bit to replace that with 18's (tires alone are $700-$800).

Just go with the 05+ brakes. All you'll really ever need on street car and maintainence is cheaper than on the Brembos

Your first option is useless, as I said my calipers are going, but thanks anyway

Will 05 calipers fit on my car without a bracket though is my question.

Alright, so I can just buy 05+ G non brembo calipers/rotors or 06+ z calipers/rotors, and they'll bolt right on other than the trimming in the rear? If that's the case, that's what I'll do.
Now I just need to figure out how to bleed brakes, and find me a set

Bleeding brakes is easy. You just need a buddy and some time. Don't sweat it

Alright, thanks for the help. And if anyone happens to come across a set of 05+ calipers (at least the rears), let me know as I will probably buy them on the spot. And I'm thinking about if I can just get calipers, I'll just get upgraded rotors/pads from the start. As well as SS brake lines, because while they're off, I may as well.

SS lines are a nice upgrade. I put them on my other vehicle and noticed a definite improvement in pedal feel.

I got a bbk on my X but you need atleast a 5mm space to fit the 17's.

Lumpia if you don't mind me asking, what BBK do you have? And are you saying you've put the OEM 17s on there with the BBK with a 5mm spacer?
