clunk in front but only under hard braking

Hope everybody is well. I just replaced the rotors all the way around. On the initial drive everything went fine. Its been a couple hundred miles and now I have a loud clunk but only under hard braking that is rhythmic. It's not one loud pop, kinda sounds like every rotation or half rotation its making contact, I can lightly apply the brake and its fine. Has anyone experienced this before?

This is a pretty loud clunk, i can feel it through the pedal. I took the wheel off tonight and expected to see some visible damage, its that loud.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did my brakes and it turned out to be that I didnt tighten the lugnuts enough on the rears because I forgot to check how tight they were by hand .. One of my rear rotors was hitting the shield and making a horribly loud noise...exactly what your describing..I was thinking something major went wrong..

Turned out that 2 lugnuts on one side were loose and the other 3 hand tight..so check all your lug nuts

Do what geew1z says and check your lugs, but before you do that, take the wheel off and make sure the caliper bolts are tightened correctly and that the pads are seated properly.
