HVAC question- floor mode

I just noticed that when the A/C is set to floor mode or any other combination with the vents or the winshield, I can't seem to feel any draft coming from the floor. Are the floor vents located differently on the G35 than other cars? Even if I set the fan at the highest level, I feel no draft on the floor.

The dash vents and everything else is ok and cooling/heating is excellent- just the floor mode doesn't seem to be working.

I don't usually drive this car so I'm just noticing it now. Oh- and I did replace the cabin filter two weeks ago. Wondering if that is obstructing the flow of air to the floor vents.

Do other people feel or not feel the draft of air on their feet when it's set to floor?

I am pretty sure I did when i set mine that way once...but the airflow from the bottom definitely was not as good as a truck/suv..in my experience. It definitely will blow less from the dash vents if it is properly blowing out of the floor vents... mine did that for sure, so I ended up just pressing the auto button to let it do its thing.
