Re: HELP: Hotchkis Sway Settings on Stock Suspension

You can use the experiences of other's as a starting point. But keep in mind the idea is to use the bars so you shape the behavior of the car to work with your setup and to work with you, the driver. Your goal will be to make the car behave in a way that you can extract the most from it. That may mean bar settings that are different then other drivers and car's that may have other setup differences your not aware of.

I know some people just want to set them and forget them, at least I did my part and explained the above so you can decide for yourself.

I want to start at neutral if possible and work from there. Just needed to know what you thought it took to get there. Gratis.

Re: HELP: Hotchkis Sway Settings on Stock Suspension

Neutral is not a fixed place!

As the rear tire traction is shared with manuvers.........neutral with how many pound feet of which action: accelerating, decleleration, steady speed --- going straight or at what slip angle?

Also at what tire road interface friction coefficient [Dry concrete or dry asphalt or wet and how wet].......SEE THE PROBLEM.

Most racers set up for neutral at the apex of a certain corner at a certain speed and tire temperature.........under steering in over steering coming out.
