Hands Free Bluetooth... does it work for anyone?
I got the same one, and it works great for me. except that their website claims that it will display the phone number on the radio (when the FM transmitter is on), but I have yet to see that. have you?
The Bluetooth in my '06 G35x has always worked well.....
paired with two different Blackberries over the last couple of years. I've never had any sound quality issues and it automatically detects the phone whenever I get into the car and turn on the ignition. It's a really great feature to have integrated in the car as it cuts the audio when a call comes in. Surprised to hear there are so many people who've had issues.
Mine has always worked fine. I had a blackberry 8703e (sprint) and now use it with my Palm Pre (still Sprint). The only issue I have had that every so often (very seldom) it does seem to pair. I turn off bluetooth on the phone and turn it back on and it is fine.
Voice commands have always been fine (talk slowly and wait for the system to finish). The only problem is thay the system cannot understand just my brother's first name (Darren). I needed to input his number as first and last name. Pretty much everyone else has gone as a first name. I think the sound comes off as a single syllable.
Yes, audible speaker only on the right. I have only had a sound complaint on the freeway with the sunroof cracked.
I had stock wheels and changed to 19" Volks. Had noisier tires and then got a set of PS2s. No difference for the phone that I know of.

Staying off topic, I always use XM so I have never tried out the feature.
