question after reading the sedan FAQ about wheels nd suspension
im still a little confused lol. sorry, to bug you guys about somthing you've probably herd over and over again.
i have a 2006 G35X. recently bought the g37S 19's. i plan on having these on for the summer only. so here are my quetions.
1. i did NOT buy tpms, due to the fact ill only be riding them for the winter, so i know this will set off the light, but does it beep every 10 seconds as if im in a honda civic with no seat belt on or just a 1 time thing? and is this a OK idea?
2. i want to put a slight drop on my sedan, i was considering the zsprings, ive herd about the whole revised and unrevised ones, i dont know which to put on if at all any since i will be riding both the 19's and 17's. what ever i do i only want a slight drop. with NO problems what so ever. advice here is needed here badly!
oh and i havent purchased any tires for my g37S rims, if that helps, but im set on buying the stock bridgestone potenzas 245 40 19
aka. an exact product, such as on www.everything35.com is helpful and a reason why!

Don't have an X but here is what I found from countless hrs of searching this forum and PM'ing members..
My 05 sedan had non-sport suspension set up with spring rates of 283/308
Yours currently has spring rates of 283/355 (see below)
350z
2003 - 2004 - 350Z oem spring rates - 314/342
2004.5 - 2006 - 350Z oem spring rates - 314/427
Coupe
2003 - 2004 - G35 coupe with oem 17's or 18's spring rates - 314/342
2005 - 2006 - G35 coupe with oem 19's - 314/427
Sedan
2003 -2006 - G35 sedan AT and MT with sport suspension spring rates - 314/342
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan non sport spring rates - 283/308
Sedan X
2004 - 2006 - G35x - 283/355
I used the 06 350Z setup (revised which means the higher spring rates as mentioned above and the shocks to suit. I got a 1" drop and the ride is firm but not bouncy. I also have 19 wheels and I have about a 2 finger gap between wheel/fender which suits me just fine. I think your X will have a higher drop from what I have read...another .5" or so over the 1" that the RWD sedan gets
There is a thread somewhere here that it stickied titled "calling all lowered X"...you should check it out in case this link don't work
