Went to the Acura TL Forum...

This community is possibly one of the nicest that I personally have been a part of. Many forums have members posting alot of misinformation, thread crapping and ignorant members, some biased heavily to the car they drive or brand.
Personally I have owned a 2003 TL, a 2003 CL Type S, a Vigor, Integra, Accord, Civic and I can tell you that 'Honda Reliability' is nothing more then BS: as the CL and TL both have severe transmission issues, and I experienced this with both models. The Automatic transmissions in the my Accord also ended up having issues, and misc oil leaks: not a fool proof brand. They do make nice cars, and I would buy again since the dealer foot 50/50 on the transmission repairs etc... but I would not buy a Honda just cause its a Honda... many other factors to look at.
I also owned a 2003 BMW and it is was a nice car, but to me it was nothing more then the brand and image. Yes it did drive nice compared to many cars I have driven, but people see a BMW and think wow... what I do not understand is that for a few thousand more, anyone driving a Camry, TL, TSX, G, etc... could have one: and also for that few thousand more then routine maintenance that comes packaged in with the vehicle and the high cost of those services make up some of that 'additional' cost (well in Canada I believe this is the case)
All manufactures have nice cars, even Pontiac with the G8 (please do not flame) but for $28k CAD, it looks like a nice car.
I like my G, its a great car and despite being 6 years old... gets alot of looks, had a both classy and sporty appearance, had been very reliable and a fun car to drive.
I had my car in for service and had a brand new maxima... and I did not like it (FWD)... but another time I had my car in for service I had a new G35 and that made my interior look aged... but I do like my exterior with my Nismo full kit, lowered and agressive offset rims... its a decent commuting car with the power I need.

I agree on the wrong-wheel-drive thing too...now that I've owned a RWD car, I have a hard time going back.
I'm OK with my R because it's one of the best FWD cars ever built, but anything else, not so sure.
Besides, maybe they're jealous because no matter which way you cut it we still have Nissan Skylines (envy of Honda drivers).

Won't find much flaming on that here. I know quite a few members like the G8.
I would have way rather had one than the G35, but I couldn't buy a G8 for <$10,000![Big Grin](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Honda must be scared of RWD ![Dunno](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
Do they make anything RWD anymore? They killed the S2000 and the NSX before it. So sad
