Hey as long as our resale values stay strong and reliability remains consistent - all is good. I have owned 4 new BMW's and a Lexus among many other cars, while my wife currently drives an "02" Benz; with the exception of my sorely missed E39 5 series - none has been more reliable. I bought my car on 03/31/03 with 25 miles on the odo, I currently have 42.5k on the odo now with no major issues save for the CDError (unit just swapped) issue and brakes pads being replaced twice (still got the squeal on occaision). No "check engine" or other dash lights - even with the Ztube/Stillen CAB to mention. My "G" pulls harder and is as tight structurally as the day I took delivery.

It's safe to say you made the right choice (but you all knew that) and can reccommend the car to others with confidence - that is - if you feel they're worthy ; - )

I personally talked one of my best friends out of it. I think it sucks when everyone has the same car, especially mine. He's got this thing going like his car needs to be the best and he almost bought a G35x (I have RWD). He doesn't realize how cool RWD is though.

So he bought a TL and pissed off our other friend who has the older TL. He's so into the interior and the gadgets. Not a bad drive either. I'm happy for him and me. My other friends have Volvos. One has an Audi TT and is working up to a Porsche. Life is more interesting that way.

If it counts, I talked two people into FXs, and one into a Q45. I did such a good job convincing my friend to get an FX, I ended up getting one for my mom [img]/w3timages/icons/crazy.gif[/img] ...at least that's what I tell myself.
