Trunk size

I was searching the marketplace section looking for a used 4080 enclosure for a 10". Are there multiple trunk sizes because I would like to know what size I have. I have a full size spare tire in the trunk if that matters.

there is a difference. the X has a full size tire, while the RWD has a donut(unless otherwise outfitted by the driver or dealership). when you buy the 4080 you have to tell them whether you have a full size spare so that the 4080 will fit. this is one of the reasons why i am a bit wary about buying a 4080, because they don't say they would make up that space elsewhere, and that would affect the space of the box.

this may be a thread better suited for the a/v section.

If you have a full size spare then you need the 10" 4080 box.

Yeah I contacted the guys at 4080 enclosures and they said that if you have a full size spare tire then you have a smaller trunk and if you have thre dounut size spare then you have the taller trunk and they have both available in 10" and 12". Now I just have to get the cash together to get my system installed. I'm going to check here for a used one first before dropping the $400 for the box.
