Exclamation removing the gauge cluster overlay/face

I took everything apart today to put a new face on but now I am at the point of taking off the needles and I have not clue on how to take them off? Is it just a pop off thing? will it mess up the calibration? anyone who has done this please explain !

If you are putting on an overlay, do NOT take the needle off. Hard to calibrate and unnecessary. Just try to slide it on between the actual needle and the gauge. It is possible just make sure you don't break the needles. removing the needles are not necessary

I am trying to put this on so I don't see how to do it without removing the needles/gauges.

Lay the cluster flat and point all the needles in the same direction. Then you slide the clusters through the needles taking your time. Things will be snug and tricky but it will lay in there as long as they overlay was designed to go on with the needles still installed. You should check that first. I am sure they are if they didn't give you the cheap plastic tool to pop the needles.

The logo ruins it for me. If it was plain i would consider it, but the logo makes it too racer-ish...which i am trying to avoid.

However, the idea of changing the gauges does interest me. I'd like overlays, but i'm very selective.

I'd like to have blue LEDs. I thought the guy who took it apart and did that made it look sweet.
