I recently noticed a noise with my vehicle as well. It sounds like wind blowing on the window pane at home. Like a faint turbo woosh. I first noticed it with the stereo on. i turn the stereo off. still heard it. checked that all my windows were closed. still heard it. then it went away. one of my co-workers suggests its a bad 'ground wire' with the stereo. I also experienced this noise when I had my bass tube installed. when my ipod would be plugged in and had the stereo on aux with no muic playing it would sound like a turbo when i got on the accelerator. If you have any aftermarket stereo equipment installed I'd check the wiring.

I hear a noise similiar to this as well, I have an 06 6spd sport. It makes a whine noise in gear when gas is depressed, just like an air sound. It is sometimes intermittent.

Have you checked to see if anything is obstructing the airbox?

I noticed this same rushing air "superchargerish" sound today. It was pretty loud even when the radio was on. I pulled out into traffic and it started around 3.5 to 4k rpm. then i flipped it into neutral and rev'd to 4k and it made no noise. It only happens when there is strain on the engine i guess. Did anyone else fix the problem by doing something mentioned in the thread?
